Under the Economic Class, the Government of Canada implemented the Express Entry Immigration system, which included the Federal Skilled Worker Program.
Federal Skilled Workers in a variety of eligible occupations who meet the Express Entry Pool's minimum entry requirements submit an expression of interest profile. The profiles of pool applicants are ranked using a Comprehensive Ranking System.
The contestants with the highest ranking will be considered for a challenge to apply for a permanent home. In order to receive a greeting, up-and-comers must submit a comprehensive application within a 90-day period.
