One of the biggest lies the liberal media likes to tell ad nauseum is that people who enter the country without permission and work here without authorization are “undocumented” immigrants even though they use stolen and fabricated social security numbers, personal IDs and birth certificates to obtain work in the U.S. The illegal alien that killed Mollie Tibbetts was working at a local farm using a stolen social security number and an out of state ID that falsely portrayed him as someone named John Budd, yet the liberal media called him “undocumented”. He had documents to work there; they were fraudulent. The illegal aliens that were arrested in 2019 ICE raid on a meat packing plant in Mississippi were working there with stolen identities and fraudulent documents.

Notice how CNN uses “undocumented” in the same sentence describing identity theft and document fraud. The lie is meant to conflate foreign nationals who entered the country legally but overstayed their visa with those who entered the country unlawfully and obtained legal documents through fraud and theft (which is the majority) and to draw a false equivalency between both groups and “Hispanics”, a made up ethnic group, as a whole.
As I've mentioned elsewhere on this blog these are not isolated incidences or one off crimes of opportunity. This is an organized criminal enterprise just like drug trafficking and prostitution. What you will never hear from the lying liberal media is that there are syndicates dedicated to selling Puerto Rican birth certificates, fake and stolen IDs and social security numbers to foreigners who work in the US without a visa and they don't just use it to get jobs either.
