Conspiracy Theory (Get Over It)

Dear Reader,

Below is one "little" person's attempt to influence world events.  It may not be great, not my best, but the clock is ticking and it is what I have.  There are certain fears and themes swirling in the zeitgeist which I have tried to set down coherently.  If you feel as I do that what is inferred from the facts is logically, way more likely than not, please use whatever sharing methods you have to impact the outcome while it's still possible.  Maybe there will be the added benefit of recruiting more readership and members to steemit.

Imagine that it’s a sunny Christmas Eve afternoon on New York City’s 5th Avenue.  Someone is out walking the family dog when suddenly a gunman shoots them dead.  Then the shooter hands his gun off to a nearby security agent and stands there laughing hysterically.  There are plenty of witnesses but no one does anything.  In fact, the killer did it just to show he could commit murder with impunity.  What could be worse?

Entire generations were starved, imprisoned, raped, robbed, tortured, and murdered.  Ask any who suffered under Soviet rule or those still oppressed by Russia’s Oligarchy, over a dozen countries were subjugated by the Kremlin and their minions of spies and propagandist.  Everyone knows how Russian intelligence operates.

Soviet enslaved countries were kept in bondage by “kompromat,” propaganda, and violence.  Some still are. With no way to resist, a person’s best option was to join the evil empire and take whatever they could get. Anyone who could make a deal, did.  Those that could not, stoically resigned themselves to live out their bleak existence in quiet misery.

Resistance was crushed by the Soviet machine.  Even so, the hope of freedom and prosperity was kept alive by the democratic countries of the West, led by the United States.  Today, the breakup of the Soviet Union could not have happened.

The once rising stars of the old Soviet system who vowed to destroy us, hate us now more than ever.  They were going to be rulers of the world until the U.S. stifled their vision of world domination.  Of course, they attacked us but have they already conquered us?  Today America holds no hope for those enslaved by blood thirsty totalitarian dictators.

Instead, an idiot child stands on the stage, scowling and sneering as he tears our Constitution to shreds.  The moron laughs and hisses venom as he mocks us for believing in democracy while he publicly urinates on it. How did we get here?  How did he get there?

People who lived behind the Iron Curtain know.  The old Soviet regime didn’t simply install puppet leaders.They always went to extremes to make their shills look legitimate.  The citizens never knew who or what to believe. Under Soviet rule, people learned to ignore the propaganda and judge how compromised an official was on his actions, not by his words.  Take their advice.  Ignore the propaganda and believe your eyes.  You aren’t stupid and the facts don’t lie.

When the apologists say no crime, they take us for fools.  Getting election help from a foreign government is rigging the election.  It is the opposite of democracy.  It is the same as asking enemy governments to send military operatives and propaganda here to steal our elections.  Look at the facts.  Russian military operatives rigging our election is exactly what happened to us in 2016.

The bigger picture is; Why did the FSB (formerly KGB) simply decide one day to co-opt the U.S. presidential election without having a strategy?  Obviously, they didn’t.  Putin has hated us his entire life.  With calculated patience, they schemed and tested and poked our weaknesses for many years before making a move.  Did they start with the world’s most closely watched democratic election?

No.  A methodical plan would corrupt smaller elections at first.  Russian military intelligence began the meddling with races they could fix for a few dollars and a small social media effort.  Combined with blackmail, extortion, and bribery they prepared the stage for the “Kremlin Candidate” by taking control of a party.  Many House races, and a few compromised senators would be the beginning of the plan.

When the Senate fails to convict this guy on his growing list of crimes, your eyes won’t be lying.  The GOP Senators and Representatives demonstrate their guilt every day.  They act confused as they muddle the facts but their intent is crystal clear.  Judge them by their actions, not on what they say.

Pull the lever on them at the polls.  Run the enemy collaborators out of town once and for all.  If you have a good life, it is time to get active and speak up loud and clear for democracy. Either defend your freedom now, while you still can, or do as your GOP/Kremlin masters command and just get over it.

P.S.,

I know several Russians and I am friends with a few.  I would not want anyone to think that I am disparaging the Russian people.  Collectively they are a brilliant and strong willed people, which makes their being subjugated by an evil Oligarchy and organized crime a regrettable paradox.

Also, if anyone wants to debate the conclusions set out above, a civil debate is welcome, but any unwarranted and uncivil attacks will prove my thesis and as suggested, will bring into question your motives and loyalties.  Standing your ground is a thing where I come from.
