The Day After...

It’s now Thursday after the “historic, sad and solemn,” 12-hour marathon of the House of Representatives Impeachment debacle.
The sun continues to rise in the east, the hasn’t been any disruption of the space-time continuum, and Donald J. Trump continues to be the President of these United States. In essence, life as we know it continues unfaltering as it has in the past few days and weeks. Nothing to see here, time to move along.
In spite of the cacophony of “oh woe is me,” from the Democrats and they paraded to the floor of the House of Representatives and read from their cookie-cutter prepared talking points, they passed their two, tissue paper thin Articles of Impeachment. The appropriate response to all of this –
Macbeth:
To-morrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day,
To the last syllable of recorded time;
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools

So the Democrats have passed their Articles of Impeachment, now what. They are required to pass yet another resolution to name impeachment managers and forward the two passed resolutions on to the Senate. Are they complying with Congressional precedent? That would be a NO.
Speaker Pelosi and Senator Schumer are now acting like petulant children who aren’t getting their way and have fallen to the floor kicking and screaming and flailing their arms about hoping this display will get them their way. Fortunately what they are doing flies in the face of our Constitution of which they are so fond to refer. This type of action only reinforces what we already know of the Democrats. They have no love of our Constitutional Republic, nor do they have a working knowledge of the Constitution.
Speaker Pelosi, Senator Schumer and the rest of the Democrats and their minions would do well to read their own articles again to refresh their memories of “Abuse of Power, and Obstruction of Congress.”
