And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him

John 3:15

What does Matthew want to mean by “fulfilling righteousness of God”? 

How does the baptizem of Jesus by John bears witness to the mission of Christ in fulfilling righteousness of God?
