Examination: NSG improbable to concede India without appropriate protections

THE Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) is probably not going to have an agreement on conceding India, unless New Delhi concocts a reasonable arrangement for the division of present and future non military personnel atomic offices from non-regular citizen atomic offices, specialists caution.

As of now, the NSG is thinking about India's application for enrollment and part states are supposedly examining participation criteria for states not gathering to the Nuclear Non-expansion Treaty (NPT). The dialog concentrates on the prerequisite for clear and strict division of present and future regular citizen atomic offices from non-non military personnel atomic offices.

To extend the dialog on this key issue, Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs discharged a paper this week, which cautions that conceding India without legitimate protections would have genuine ramifications for nations like Pakistan.
