Last Night India Lights up the Spirit of Hope

India is in the second week of lock down and doing well in comparison to other countries in dealing with Covid-19. The cases are rising but the % comparison is much lesser. As I write this post India has 4067 cases in a total population of 1.38 billion (almost 17% of the total world population) with a mortality rate of Covid-19 cases to 2.5% i.e. 109 as of now. So this is definitely a very good achievement for the country and I pray and hope that the numbers are contained and we are able to tackle the situation well. As of now the lockdown is planned till 14th April, but I guess it will extend till the end of the month.

The people of India are taking up this lockdown positively, everyone understands as of now the safest thing to do for everyone's welfare is to be indoors, which is being well followed, but again as we understand India has such diverse population spread over a very vast land so it becomes difficult to have a control in every single region. Also there has been many mishaps in the beginning when the lock down was announced. Sadly as always implementation planning has always been very poor and the same has happened this time also. Now this is the common man's version to see on the outside, I am sure there are many challenges faced at all levels to manage a situation of this magnitude for all concerned. So it is advisable to give benefit of doubt to our leaders. There are many retrospective opinions, specially when the population is so large that many opinions will also be there. Economy is hit in a way that it will take a long long time to bounce back. The poor are at complete risk of going without food, the daily wage earners will be struggling for survival. Many many issues at hand to deal with. But then how are we going to tackle all of this, by criticizing and being bitter, or being frustrated. I do not think that serves anyone. Even if it is a conspiracy or whatever, the ground reality of what everyone is facing cannot be ignored and in such times we need to spread positivity and the energy of hope.

So that's what India is trying to do, where the first initiative was to clap for all our Heros on one specified day and time, who are on the job 24x7 in these most trying circumstances. A lot of people did not find any sense here, but I personally feel that these type of initiatives when done collectively raises the vibrations in the universe and it helps spread out positive energy. India is a multicultural multi religious land and the religious beliefs are very strongly rooted here, in such times collectively if we spread out positivity it is going to be very strong. Just like how Meditation collectively can do wonders, likewise any activity which is done at a mass level with an intention a lot of good energy is released out.
So while clapping was done around 2 weeks ago, yesterday our Prime Minister had requested the whole nation to come together at 09:00 P.M. and light a Candle, or a Diya, or any light at the Door step or at the Balcony. This is definitely a very powerful way of releasing good energy with the right intentions. This is also one way of boosting people mentally.
The spirit of Hope is rekindled in every heart with such actions.

A lot of astrological contemplation were done around this activity, but for me I am not concerned with all of that. I can only understand one thing that such actions raises the earth vibration and we may be able to deal with our crises in a better manner. Too much of negative forces are at play and we need to strengthen the positive forces. We have initiated the negative forces with our actions and we are facing the consequences, now it is time to initiate the positive forces and be ready to get the results of it.

At the end of it, seeing my whole country lit up with candle, lights it really lifted up my spirit and I am sure it was the same feeling for everyone. In the midst of all the chaos this was a little ray of sunshine.

Let me share some pictures that I managed to click from the Hospital window. Sadly I could not participate in this one, but just looking at it only made me feel bright and energetic.
The activity as I mentioned was to switch off all the lights at home and light a candle or a diya at either the doorstep or at the balcony. As you see majority of the people have followed and done it.
