As I mention in my Introduction post that am Nepali and Dussehra is Kind of big deal for us. It is that time of the year when you meet up with all your family,friends and extended family weather you like them or not and spend time together. ;)
Anyways ,as I live in Bangalore away from home. But again am not really alone as they say "Home is where the heart is" I have my bestie and my rommie they are more of a Family than friend & my heart belong here.

Dolma & Me with Dashain Ko Tika in our forehead
Dashai ko Tika is a mixture of rice, curd and vermilion or sindoor. Usually Tika is put by elders in the forehead of younger relatives to bless them with good life, and blessing. The red colour of tika also symbolises the blood that ties the family together.
