I'm an American who has traveled around the World a bit and everyone is different. Besides the dot on the forehead all of these habits are common, very common in all the Asian countries and Middle East. I think they're fun and interesting and enjoy trying to eat rice with my fingers even though I'm not good at it. Lateness, relax, so someone is a few minutes late. The "thank you" statement would more difficult to not say than not hear. I could live it. I stopped say "bless you" when people sneeze and it feels funny not saying it. However, it's a choice.
I saved the best for last, head bobbing. I think it's a beautiful thing that's done to clearly give feedback that you are listening to the speaker. It is a sure sign that someone if from India I think.
Nice video with great topic for discussion, thank you.
