The much-anticipated Rs 200 notes will be
released by the Reserve Bank of India on Friday.

The bank released images of the note on
Thursday. Select banks in the country will put
the note into circulation.

However, it may take a while before you can
get a Rs 200 note from an ATM.

The configuration of the note (66 mmxl 46
mm) is different from the existing fleet of notes
dispensed by AT Ms.
