Okra fry (Bhindi fry)

Hi everyone,

Today was such a busy day.... Sundays are meant for relaxing but then the only day I get to pay attention at home and windup my all pending work, attend class, cleaning, grooming and write blogs too..

Today I also thought to help mom in cooking something yum and also easy nothing came in my mind but Okra fry.. aka Ladyfinger and in India popularly known and liked as Bhindi. Lets see how I made it. same can be eaten with roti and rice.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Kg Okra ( Washed, wiped and cut)
  • 2 smashed Garlic pods
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 pinch Turmeric powder
  • 2 Green chilles
  • 4 Tsp of oil
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • Heat a pan add oil let it heat then add mustard seeds, garlic and chopped okra
  • let all oil cover the okras add salt & turmeric
  • Let it get fry in oil with closed lid, mix in between to avoid sticking down
  • cook for 15 mins and its done.....
