Malgudi Days (1987 -2006)
This Indian television drama series was based on R.K. Narayan's short stories from his book Malgudi Days.
It tells the storey of Swami and his friends growing up in a small village in south India.
It aired on DD National for the first time and is now available on Hotstar India.
Swami is played by Master Manjunath.
