Be yourself.

I keep returning to this point. We don’t need to DO anything; we just need to choose to BE something, and the only something that seems to work with any reliable consistency is to be yourself.

What being yourself necessitates is your being an “individual” … and then to take responsibility for being that individual, which is a huge responsibility, because you are no longer able to blame others for anything that might impact, fragment, or thwart your individuality from expressing itself.

However, you also need to protect this individual soul and to nurture it, and to propagate it out into the world, so that it might represent you properly in the course of your becoming the best person that you can be.

Sounds simple; but it’s not.

What is a great comfort though, is that it’s all within your control at that point … it’s all there within your purview.

It’s all within your power to make the possible real … and that’s where it differs from all the endless fucking causes, beliefs, propaganda bullshit, group affiliations, and 10 thousand identities which are chiefly there to lead you deeper into the idolatry to which the world keeps trying to enslave you.
