Each of these characters we can upgrade one by one. By upgrading the characters, we can give additional abilities to the character, such as extending the duration of the Power Up earned, or multiplying the Power Up that appears in one game. This huge upgrade can be done many times, so players will need very many coins to upgrade all characters. Of course, players can simply upgrade the player's favorite character only.
Temple Run 2 also adds things to do in the game. For example, there is a challenge to run as far as 1500 meters without taking a single coin, or there is also a challenge that tells players to get a Gem in the level. If we complete these enormous challenges, we will be able to gain an Experience Points. If our Experience Points are enough, we will level up.
