Hewan ini menjerat mangsanya dengan menggunakan jaringnya, jaring laba - laba sangat kuat setiap serangga yang terkena jaringnya tidak bisa lepas semakin mangsanya berontak semakin kuat lilitan jaringnya, seperti ada laem di jaringnya.
