Each year, every August 17, Indonesia always celebrates Independence Day. Well, Google also celebrates this special day by showing a special doodle on the main page of Google.
When you go to the main Google page, then at the top of the search field you will find a cartoon picture of a boat with six people on it. These six people describe the various tribes that exist in Indonesia.
"(Doodle) Summarizes the spirit of 'unity in diversity' (Bhinneka Tunggal Ika), the national motto of Indonesia (derived from a 14th century Javanese poem) that defines the joy of this historic day," Google wrote in its statement.
Well, the interesting again is the doodle this time is the result of a child of a nation named Aditya Pratama. For your information, Aditya Pratama is an artist who lives in Bandung, West Java. In addition to doodles, other works can be seen when opening the site behance.net.
Not forgetting Google also explains that every anniversary of Indonesia's Independence Day, people in various corners celebrate with parade, marching band with red and white flag decorations, games such as climbing areca nut, until the flag ceremony.
This is not the first time Google also celebrates Indonesian Independence Day. The previous year Google featured three members of the herald flag raiser (Paskibraka), while in 2015 Google displayed a proclamation monument.
