The incident is very imprinted hearts of all aceh people and save trauma very heavy, many of them who lost family and loved ones.

Aceh was destroyed after the disaster was destroyed the entire building was destroyed no trace, the economy of society is getting worse.
But now aceh has cleaned up, Aceh has risen and the economy has been so stable. Buildings that had once been destroyed have been built and laid out in such a neat and beautiful.

Events of that size would save a great history as well, a history where the nation was once stricken by a very very powerful disaster. The mosque dome of jami 'is one of the historical evidence of tsunami aceh 2004 ago, this mosque was destroyed by tsunami and only left the dome of this mosque is located in Lamteungoeh village, Aceh Besar. Now this mosque has been rebuilt but the dome is still stored as historical evidence.
