JAKARTA -- The Bumiputera Nusantara Indonesia Employers Association signed a letter of cooperation agreement with MUSIAD (The Turkish Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association) at the National Consultative Conference and the inauguration of DPP ASPRINDO in Jakarta on 4 May 2018.
The signing was done by the Chairman of ASPRINDO, H. Jose Rizal, MBA who was accompanied by the Chief of Departement of Trading and Export-Import ASPRINDO, H. Fatahillah, M.Sc. While from the party MUSIAD represented by Tevfik Donmez.
The event was also witnessed by Vice Governor of DKI Sandiaga Uno and members of DPP ASPRINDO and representatives of DPW ASPRINDO throughout Indonesia.
Tevfik Donmez said to the media crew, "MUSIAD is a non-governmental organization consisting mostly of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that already have ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Certificate. Members have reached about 11,000 thousand more."
According to Tevfik Donmez, "In terms of cooperation with ASPRINDO, MUSIAD assumes that the goals proclaimed by ASPRINDO almost similar or in line with the goals of MUSIAD."
The bilateral relations between Indonesia and Turkey to date have been going on for a long time and are very good, even in 2016 "the total trade of Indonesia-Turkey reached USD 1.34 billion. "In the economic sphere both countries enjoy bilateral trade growth over the past five years, reaching an average of 6.3%," Tevfik said.
At the end of the conversation, Tevfik said, "Therefore with a memorandum of cooperation between ASPRINDO and MUSIAD will be established a mutually beneficial cooperation and provide benefits for the Indonesian economy, especially the entrepreneurs of SMEs". (Hefrizal / monty)
