Motif seperti ini sekarang sangat banyak di gunakan oleh para pengrajin untuk menghiasi motif kerajinannya. Barang kerajinan aceh yang bermotif seperti ini, yang juga di sebut motif 'Pinto Aceh', sangat di gemari masyarakat lokal dan turis dari luar daerah sebagai cinderamata dari aceh.

Motif 'Pinto Aceh' ini pertama kali di ciptakan oleh Mahmud Ibrahim, seorang pengrajin emas dari Blang Oi, pada tahun 1935. Kemudian dalam perkembangannya motif 'Pinto Aceh' kini sudah menjelajah dunia hingga di kenal ke Eropa dan Amerika.

The motif of 'Pinto Aceh' was first created by Mahmud Ibrahim, a gold craftsman from Blang Oi, in 1935. Later on in his development the motif 'Pinto Aceh' has now roamed the world to know Europe and America.
