Tariu Ceremony

Ceremony of Manajah Antang

Rituals performed while facing war. Dayak tribe will perform this ceremony to find clues where the existence of a clever enemy once berstrategi. Tiwah Ceremony

Ceremony performed to deliver the bones of Dayak tribe who have died. In this ceremony, there will be many rituals, dances and sounds of traditional Dayak musical instruments. The purpose of this ritual is to deliver the bones of the dead to the ancestral spirits, to be preserved in the wild. After the ritual is complete, the bones will be placed in a small house made specifically for the dead, or commonly called a stumbling block. This ceremony is very sacred with the accompaniment of traditional music so solemn.
