Indonesia is considering a move toward blockchain technology, to boost the effectiveness of its record-keeping systems.

Blockchain technology has uses other than cryptocurrencies, particularly when it comes to reliable data management and transparent, and the Indonesian government is seeking to apply it to its benefit.

Consisting of more than 250 million people and 17,000 islands, Indonesia has found it difficult to keep accurate documentations, and tech firm Online Pajak is currently seeking to solve this hardship by employing a blockchain-powered app for tax data.
