I don't think infatuation of any kind will ensure that you'll have an enduring relationship with someone.
Everyone is different, but I personally enjoyed when the infatuation stage of my relationship ended, since it enabled me to see @emaferice for who she is (instead of who I imagine her to be).

MY ADVICE:
Get to know the person you are infatuated with, discover their weaknesses, acknowledge their weaknesses, and then value that person for their strengths (in spite of their weaknesses).
I cannot guarantee that it will 'ensure' anything, but it is a recipe for an enduring relationship.
DEFINITIONS:
Infatuation is an intense but short-lived passion or admiration for someone or something.
The word frantically means doing something in a distraught way owing to fear, anxiety, or other emotion.
The word distraught means deeply upset or agitated.
