Infiniti’s QX80 is not only the company’s biggest, most lavish SUV, but it also is the company’s flagship luxury SUV. The QX80 is a body-on-frame full-size SUV with space for up to seven passengers and a towing capacity of 3855-kgs.
The three-row QX80 is the high-riding and high-visibility model from Infiniti. And with its flashy styling, epic size, and nightclub interior, it certainly stands out. It turns lots of heads when you drive it around town and you feel like a king behind the wheels.
The QX80 is very luxurious on the inside. In fact, Infiniti wanted to emulate the cabin of a private luxury jet. The seats are beautifully stitched with a standard rear entertainment system. The rear can be equipped with a seven-passenger configuration or even eight.
The V8 engine is carried over from last year and it just makes driving so ever easy and painless. In terms of looks, the 2018 year model introduces style and substance improvements to elicit a second glance from luxury buyers. Other tweaks also include a revised suspension, additional sound deadening materials, new interior trims and seating configurations, new leather and quilting for the seats, and a camera-based streaming rearview mirror.
What is is unchanged, though, is the SUV’s 5.6-litre V8 engine, seven-speed automatic transmission, and drivetrain. The engine delivers 400-horsepower. On the rear, a widened chrome strip connects new LED taillights, with the bumper-mounted incandescent turn signals looking dashing.
