Trump's tweet tells the story!
Basically we have Obama attempting to break the law and violate an agreement between a foreign nation concerning nuclear weapons.
Next we find the Obama Administration Boldly and Blatantly lying about their actions to the American people. Sad!
Iran had $5.7 million in a bank over in Oman. Because of the sanctions the U.S. put on Iran, they were not allowed to access the funds.
After the Iran Nuclear Deal they were allowed to access, but it was in the form of Rials coded IRR.
In July 2013 the Iranian rial was lowered in value to only half of what it used to be because the government reduced subsidization of the exchange rate against the dollar.
So the Iranians wanted these rials converted into Euros so they could use them.
You will remember the Obama Treasury issued a "special license" to the banks to allow them to use our system to convert the rials to euros.
The banks refused the Obama Administration in this go around of the Iranian Nuclear Deal. They did not want to violate the deal as that would be illegal!
Obama didn't give up. He requested this exchange from the European banks who were indeed willing to violate the Iran Nuclear Deal!
So right in the middle of the sanctions and the Nuclear Iran talks, an Omani bank was given access to our banking system so they could start moving funds around for the Iranians. This is Biggly, even Yuge!
According to Treasury Jack Lew stated to the Foreign Relations Committee, "Iran will continue to be denied access to the world's largest market."
Clearly that was a lie!

Also interesting to note, Adam Szubin, served under Obama as a top official with the titles of Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence.
Just take a look at what this position entails and what a mockery has been made of the American people and Congress!
As Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, Szubin was responsible for directing the Treasury's efforts to cut the lines of financial support for terrorists, fight financial crime, enforce economic sanctions against rogue nations, and combat the financial support of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. The Under Secretary is appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate.
Adam Szubin's other title, Director of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) This entails a financial intelligence and enforcement agency of the U.S. Treasury Department. It administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions in support of U.S. national security and foreign policy objectives. Under Presidential national emergency powers, OFAC carries out its activities against foreign states as well as a variety of other organizations and individuals, like terrorist groups, deemed to be a threat to U.S. national security.
So the OFAC operates under the Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence. Comprised mainly of Intelligence targeters and lawyers.
It is also a point of interest that many of OFAC's targets are set by the White House in broad cases, most individual cases are a result of investigations by OFAC's Office of Global Targeting. So once again, a global initiative and the Obama Administration was top notch at globalism rather than taking care of the citizens it had promised to take care of!
According to Breitbart, in a Senate Report by the majority staff of the Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations that revealed that the Obama administration secretly plotted to give Iran access to the U.S. financial system as a sweetener for the 2015 nuclear deal.
Adam Szubin testified on August 5, 2015,
"before the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs that “Iran will be denied access to the world’s most important market and unable to deal in the world’s most important currency,” referring to the U.S. financial system and the U.S. dollar. He also stated that “Iranian banks will not be able to clear U.S. dollars through New York, hold correspondent account relationships with U.S. financial institutions, or enter into financing arrangements with U.S. banks.”
WHAT
"In testimony before the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs on September 17, 2015, Mr. Szubin again assured lawmakers that “no Iranian banks can access the U.S. financial system, not to open an account, not to purchase a security, and not even to execute a dollarized transaction where a split–second’s worth of business is done in a New York clearing bank.”
Szubin also stated,
“Iran will not be able to open bank accounts with U.S. banks, nor will Iran be able to access the U.S. banking sector, even for that momentary transaction to, what we call, dollarize a foreign payment. … That is not in the cards. That is not part of the relief offered under the JCPOA.”

Not just the same place, but same time period when the Iran Nuclear Deal resurfaced on the Political and global arena concerning whether President Trump would get out of the deal (which indeed seemed to be a no brainer) and Prime Minister Netanyahu exposed the Iranian's secretly continuing their nuclear weapons development in direct violation of their nuclear agreement with the US!
