I WAS pretty strong. I used to toss around oak timbers used for dunnage and half inch chains.
Then old age set in...
alas..

    I was never pretty strong (relative to my relatives...lol).

    I was also seen as 'the slacker' relative to my relatives.

    Then I joined the real world and realized how the opposite was actually true (relative to my non relatives)

    My relatives were just workhorses, and I never knew it. Tough people.

    I'm but eighty seven thousand shadows of my former self.

    I remember those days- when I was only eighty seven thousand shadows of my former self ! lol
