Is the Marines new sniper rifle worth it?

That's a great question. I would guess that they would say that they have them already but that it is not always the best choice because the fucker is so big and heavy and there are not always clear shooting lanes a mile long that you could take advantage of. Consider how many rounds of .50 someone could haul around compared to .300, the rounds themselves are heavy and bulky.

how many rounds does it take?
'one shot...one kill'

LOL, I considered using a still from the movie Sniper or better yet Sniper:2: "One shot, two kills" Probably Tom Beringer's finest film.

The problem is there is often more than one jihadist.

no problem

as long as you have enough bullets with you ;)

that's always the problem isn't it? No matter what kind of gun you have.
can't never have too much ammo.

That's why I think in the event of an actual zombie apocalypse you are going to want a good .22lr, they only die from headshots anyways and you can carry around 1000s of rounds easily.

.....somebodies watching to much Walking Dead.

The hatchet does seem a lot more effective than Lucille

why not an air rifle?

Mine reloads sort of slow but maybe if you have one of these:

My air rifle of choice growing up hw .177.
West German. High quality. Very good for ratting!

(I still have it, back in the UK. When I returned home, I took it for a spin - having not fired it for over 20 years - it was as powerful as ever. Amazing)
