Tonight, I would like to enter this article into evidence, that the whole election machine agenda is a sham. It all started back when it was Gore v Bush, paper ballots required a lot of time and effort.

Since then, we have moved away to electronic machines. The earliest article I could find is from 2004. With a headline that reads, 'Touch' voting a worry / Hazards haunt new high-tech machines

Ok, maybe this is a one off? So the original concern was that when selecting one candidate it would select the opposing candidate. Interesting.

Here is another from 2004, depicting skepticism among elected officials. This headline reads U.S.: New Technology Touted As Way Ahead For Elections, But Critics Worry . Critics worry?! Aw come on, this system is safe and secure! Why we buy or allow or enemies to manufacture such things is beyond me.
