Hello everyone this is @wakeupnd, I am the newest member of the curation team for the Informationwar account.
Some of you that have been around for a while might have read one or two of my post in the past and already have a good understanding of where I stand. I've been posting on Steemit and sharing my mind since the first 50,000 people joined way back in August 2016. I've shared and commented on thousand of articles but I'm sure like most people you don't have time to read all those to figure where I stand on issues so let me break them down into just one post.
2nd Amendment:
These are my guns, just a faction of them, shooting is one of my favorite past times. The 2nd amendment if very important to me. I've been around guns my entire life. My daddy bought me a bb gun when I was 6 years old and I have been discharging firearms ever since, thousands and thousands of times with zero accidents.
I'm not a fan of people that want "reasonable" guns control because it has always lead to confiscation in the past and never solves the problem of crime in the country just look at the UK trying to ban knifes now from all the stabbings'.
Examples:

So ya I'm very biased in favor of the 2nd Amendment because freedom is not only the ability to speak your mind but also defend it if someone tries to silence you.
Freedom
I enjoy my freedom. I live in the second or third least populated state in the county. One of the benefits in living in a small state is that you can do almost anything and not bother another person. I can drive for 30 mins in any direction and be in the middle of nowhere but I don't look at it like that. In 30 minutes of driving somewhere I can do just about anything outdoors related like hunting, fishing, camping, biking, boating, snowmobiling, etc.
My backyard is basically the western half of the State. Filled with mostly decent, hard working, independent people that don't like anyone telling them what they can and can't do especially if it's the government.
So I'm biased towards freedom as well. I love seeing people coming together solving problems without any assistance from government and I hate seeing government try to limit people's freedom.
-Western ND is very conservative and the Eastern part is where the major universities are at, it's very liberal and produces some of the biggest libtards in the government.
Vaccines
This is a very personal issue for me. My son is 6 years old, very healthly and doesn't get vaccinated because of my personal experiences with vaccines and some evidence that shows they might actually be harmful and not helpful like the government wants us to believe.
One of my experiences with vaccines comes from my wife. She worked at a local hospital and was forced to get the flu shot and it was just her luck that she suffered a severe reaction about a week after getting her flu shot and was hospitalized for a few days. A couple years after that incident she suffered another re-action even though her doctor recommend that she not get the flu shot because of her past reaction to them but the hospital forced her to get one anyways. Like clock work a week goes by after she gets the shot and she starts to get sick. This time was way worse, it took her several months to get better but we racked up over $10,000 in medical bills trying to figure out what the issue was and how to make her feel better.
She doesn't work in the medical field anymore, thankfully she doesn't have to get a flu shot anymore but it wrecked her career that she had invested over a decade in because of those fucking shots that are ineffective at preventing at flu.

Politics
I think by now most people can guess that I'm a conservative. I lean more towards libertarian views on government but I'm not a purest like Ron Paul.
Ron Paul definitely was my "red pill" back in 2008 when he was running for president. Back then I was more of a Foxnews neo-con conservative but one day a friend mentioned Ron Paul to me and by fate I checked him out on the internet. I fell in love with the ideas coming out of this soft spoken man's mouth and began my journey down the rabbit hole of government lies and corruption.
I still love hearing Ron Paul speak but I disagree on his views about Trump, the border and real money. His ideas of self responsibility and limited government are still very solid and the only form of government we should have on this planet. Liberal views on government are a pipe dreams at best and are good intentions that pave the road to hell.
Summary:
I could go on and on here about many other topics but the main points to take away from this post is that this is where I stand on these issues today. It doesn't mean this is were I'm going to stand on these issues forever. As I get older, wiser and see more evidence of things my opinion of them changes.
I'm not here to curate only posts I agree with I'm also here to learn and understand new evidence and read other people's opinions. If I see posts that I disagree with but they are well laid out with evidence or common sense backing them I have no problem upvoting those posts. So keep that in mind when you're writing a post. I'm looking forward to upvoting all the great content on the Informationwar tag.
Thanks to @stevescoins and @truthforce for allowing me to join the team.
I appreciate your views, which is why I started following you not long after my arrival here. I discovered quite a few of you I follow now through coming across a post by @dwinblood and following him. Through his resteems and comment sections I probably filled a third of the small follow list I have.
Similar to you, I grew up handling guns at a young age thanks to my dad. I haven't shot much as an adult, but surprisingly found that the skills didnt diminish much when my friend took me shooting years ago after a long break from it. He was pissed I could out shoot him as he goes regularly and I hadn't shot in years.
I too liked Ron Paul except for his stance on the border, and he is to soft spoken imo to be commander and chief. He has a through understanding of the banking scam and understands taxes are theft. It is a shame Trump did not pick him to head the Treasury dept.

Fire post, sir. Ron Paul red-pilled me, too...
Yeah but they're effective at their intended purpose which is to get you sick.

My granddaughter had the pox-rubella-measles at three years old and spent the next 4 days fighting for her life in the hospital. My mother got a flu shot and was shortly thereafter diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome. Doing exactly what the doctor tells you to do is the third leading cause of early death in the USA. https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2016/05/18/medical-errors-death.aspx

Personally I am not into the blame game. Liberals and Republican actually want the same thing, but sadly logic and reason isn't playing any part in bringing people together to solve the problems we face.
To busy having fun calling each other names. Libtards and Republanuts.
You can't trust the liberals logic and reason, cause they constantly say things that make absolutely no sense. Like "Gun's Kill"
You can't trust the Republicans cause they also don't make any sense in there attempts to communicate with the liberals. After all if you are an adult and don't realize that calling someone a libtard isn't going to open the lines of communication than you too have a problem using logic and reason.
I often think we should just Identify as Americans and be done with the political divide. Sadly it is too much common sense for most to consider. I do have to admit that nothing you have shared do I disagree with. The main thrust of my efforts is to try like hell to get education out into the wild.
Nice post.
