Interesting article buddy, I have not seen that email, I never received one it seems. I am active regularly on steemit, though have dropped off from daily posts since the HF. Now half that output or less, not inspired by the feeble price of steem, and the bad FUD around steemit. Seems the system is rigged especially since HF21 in favor of the whales that own the most steem, the original lot who got loads of steem from the start. Going downhill by the looks of the steemit scene.
Originally I hoped steem would return to its former price but now I'm doubtful so less inspired. There are other social media crypto sites.

Yes, everyone who has ever signed up for steemit.com got this email. The reason it says we miss you and come back is because out of more than a million accounts that signed up over the past 3 years there are only about 20k active accounts on a monthly basis so it was prolly just easier for them to send out a blanket email focused on people who have left the platform rather than the few that are still here and probably already know what the fuck is actually happening with steemit these days.. As far as the downvotes go you should use different tags like neoxian and palnet and others that have their own tokens, that way if you do get downvoted on steemit at least you are still earning tokens on these other platforms because they would have to go through and downvote every tribe individually to stop you from getting those tokens too.. I know its not much but its something i guess. I liked your idea of only giving downvotes to people who create content, that was a brilliant idea to stop shit heads who are serial downvoting people to silence them on what should be an open platform to speak our minds..

Yea, I've been tagging palnet for the past six months and have earned like $1-2 USD so far during all that time.

Hopefully, they will eventually come up in price, as Steem continues to bottom out.

LoL prolly. i think its closer to 3k daily accounts lol.. i can go thru the entire new feed (back 24 hours) in like an hour, its kind of sad to see how few accounts are actually posting these days..

TPTB? Im not familiar with that abbreviation..

But I do think steemit.inc and witnesses are only concerned with appeasing the big accounts and how changes affect them. Truth is whales were making out like fat rats in the old system by raping the small accounts with bidbots/paid votes while at the same time bleeding the system dry of liquid steem/sbd.

Now they are raping the small accounts by taking more of their (hard earned) rewards AND punishing anyone who tries to post promote to get more attention on their posts! Cuz how dare anyone but whales (or posts with whales approval) make it in trending.

But dont worry their circle jerking is completely fine on their shit posts and you better not dare downvote their shit post because they will destroy you!!

Funny thing is nothing has really changed for the better.. The same people are getting fucked after hf21, the small accounts, and now the whales are acting like they are saviors by downvoting anyone who uses a bidbot 😂🤣😂 oh the fucking irony of it all..

But to answer your question, no, i dont think they realized they fucked up their golden goose yet.. I think they think the SMTs will solve everything.......

Good to know.. It makes sense now that i see it! lol.

I am actually preparing a Dtube video that says all of this stuff.. however it doesn't really matter what I say because when I put that post out it will either be completely ignored by pretty much everyone or it will be downvoted into oblivion and it will put a target on my back too.. which at this point i really don't care cuz that would just give me an excuse to stop using steemit and tbh my fiance would LOVE THAT! lol.. Intially I told her I would stop posting after i earned 1000 steem, however I'm well over 2k now and I have spent another 1k buying other cryptos, silver and steem engine coins... It's just stupid easy to earn right now, especially using Dtube, steemhunt and actifit so I feel dumb walking away.. but if it completely falls apart she will never let me live it down! LMAO! Damned if i do, Damned if i don't!

BTW, I always appreciate the upvotes but you definitely don't need to hook me up everytime I comment on your stuff.. I love what you are doing, people need to be informed, and that is why I do my best to support u with small upvotes and some comments.. However, I know you got battles to fight so please don't waste upvotes on me if you could use them elsewhere ;) Keep on keeping on my friend, hopefully one day you will beat this fucking idiot who is harassing the shit out of you and stealing your freedom of speech!
