When I was a kid the standing joke was that California was like a granola bar, full of nuts and fruits; I am sad to find that it is not very funny anymore! The liberals have been in control the so long, that the state can Not even repair their basic infrastructure; leaving thousands at risk from failing bridges and dams!
So how does Calif respond to this critical shortfall? By adding $98,000,000.00 to the state 2020 budget to pay for medical insurance for those invading our country illegally, from Mexico and countries south! How will they pay for this exorbitant unnecessary expense? They will simply add a tax to those who can not afford to carry insurance. This extortion tax was stopped by President Trump, but the rulers in the plantation called California, never met a tax they didn't love! Besides these are US Citizens, so their rulers can punish them with impunity!
So they begin the punishment tax on those too poor to afford insurance under their inflated insurance plan! They know that these people can Not afford to fight them in court, nor can they afford to leave; So the rulers of California just decided to rob the poor, to give to the criminals. It seems the liberals identify more with the criminals than with their legal Citizens. Somehow that is fitting, criminals covering for criminals!

Normal people would try to reduce their expenses, to gain some funding to repair infrastructure; in order to protect the lives of Citizens! But the fruits and nuts in charge in California care more about invading criminals; than they do for the safety of their Legal Citizens who they are legally required to protect!

They have basically doubled down on the most unpopular part of the Affordable Care Act, to focus this extorted income from the poor, to medically insure criminals, that should not even be here! Can it get more insane in California? Is it possible to do a worse job of protecting those who's Job it is for you to protect? So instead of helping their citizens, they steal from them, Twisted logic has to go a long way to justify that! Maybe a little insanity needs to be mixed in, to try to make this sound like a good idea!
The rulers, that used to be representatives, in California have lost touch with reality, and should be removed for the safety of the serfs, that need relief! They should try something new in California; they should try electing someone with a brain, just for the change! Who knows, maybe they could begin to pay their own way, and maybe even repair that damaged dam before thousands die.
ALL THAT THEY NEED DO is to Deport these criminal invaders!

They are imploding. Spending is destroying their ability to recover. WHEN, not if, the real estate prices crash (like they did decades ago in Tokyo), they will be down for 40+ years!
They have restricted the power grid in Ca, so it is 20 years out of date, with double the loading. That have no local water source. They are already at risk, and continue to dig themselves in deeper!

Very true of course but with the wealth pouring it they'll be able to prop things up for many more years I think. the real estate is so desirable out there that it might take ten years to recover from a crash.

They share the same problem, their evenomy is supported by inflated real estate prices. Mortgage bundles support business loans, when one fails, the other dries up!
It has been an easy high income investment, so a lot of businesses have dumped a lot of their cash there. When it drops by 75%, which is about the inflated rate there; it will break a significant portion of the tech industries.
This is exactly what happened in Tokyo, including the mortgages used as a guarantee.
