My 30th drawing for Inktober

The Inktober prompt suggestion for day 30 is jolt. In this drawing an electric jolt causes chaos, is this unwelcome surprise from the sky another one of Zeus's games?

Creating the drawing

The paper was pre-treated with ink and water, then the wet paper was pressed into the raised surface of a metal food grater to create a square pattern at the top of the image.

The figures were sketched out in pencil, then the main lines were draw in using drawing ink and a dip pen. The paper was then put under running water to remove some of the ink, then left to dry. To create the lightning bolt I used a black marker pen and then applied silver duct tape over the top of this.
