The 22 prompt for #inktober was "camp."
I've been playing a game of man vs machine for InkTober. I ask NightCafe to generate an image for the prompt. I then take a pathetic stab at drawing a picture.
I asked night cafe to generate a drawing of the camp at Valley Forge. It generated a nice image with tents and trees. Okay, the picture shows one more moon than one typically sees from the planet earth. But beggars can't be choosers. Here is the higher resolution jpg
The Pathetic Stab at Drawing
A few days ago, I drew a black hole using a fun technique in which I drew the image in white and then used the "invert" function in GIMP to turn it into a white on black image. I liked the result.
I decided to try the same with my camp image.
I drew a picture of two tents by a camp fire framed by the moon. The picture was really challenging as I had to image the inverted color of each of the things I wanted to draw.
For example, I drew red trees and an orange lake. I drew a blue moon hoping that it would turn into a yellow moon. I also created a yellow sky hoping that it would turn into a deeper purple.
I put two white aspen trees in the foreground.
Here is the first picture:
I wanted a pale pastel image hoping that it would turn into an interesting night picture. I imported the drawing into GIMP. I pressed "invert" and got this fun result:
I am eager to see how Night Cafe enhances this image. But I need to cook dinner for some one. I put this image on VYB
I created an AI Enhanced image version of the campsite on Blurt
