Here at Inner Blocks, we would love to read or watch a time that someone supported you in one of your blocks!
Did they train with you while you were preparing for a race?
Did they give you a map before you left on a big trip?
Did they subject themselves to your experimental recipes and love you through your mistakes? wait, that might just be my family, lol
Or do they support you daily while you are trying to figure your life out?
Whatever it is, we want to know!
Okay, here's my thoughts
My inner blocks came from myself,
because I was a lonely last child. And I had to spend a lot of time by myself.
At the time it wasn't such a wonderful start, but I soon learned that I have quite a vast imagination.
And I'm happy to say so to you
I was born to family with 2 older siblings, my brother was 13 years older, and my sister was a year younger.
And as it happens, I've developed myself as the go between relative.
I know I'm a big part of my entire family, cousins and all.
There's just that my siblings have a history before me with our cousins and I feel like I don't belong in this group.
My parents were already 45 and 50 years old, when I was a 5 year old kid.
I was born 1972, so my childhood happened from the late 1970's to early -80's.
I think that in Finland at the time, parents didn't spend much time with small children.
So I didn't get to spend that much childrens activities with them back then.
And my siblings moved out and begun to live their own lives during when I started to remember something.
So, I became a little boy with elderly parents.
I did have a fun-filled childhood, but with my friends from the neighborhood and years turned into young adulthood.
And I left to study, when that time came.
Loneliness has molded me, but I consider it gave me quite a lot.
I'm not afraid to be alone, and I enjoy my own company.
I'm always on the move
I also like to move all the time, I guess I am an old fashioned wonderer.
This kind of manifests itself at best by 2 things.
I move and exercise a lot. And I love driving a lot.
I love driving anything that has a motor, cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles. You name it, I love it.
So I'm happy to tell you that I have enjoyed myself being a bus driver for 15 years.
Fun-filled weekends
And in my adult days, I've become to produce and offer a fun action weekend. Me and my siblings + spouses, cousins and friends gather for a fun weekend once every 6 months.
We all loved it so much that it became our tradition. And it's been happening for 4 - 5 years now.
And my brother said at one of these weekends, that he is happy to attend these if I just keep producing them.
So as I enjoy seeing my close relatives outside any birthdays and such, I have been doing this to this day.
Our next meeting is coming up next month and we're going frisbeegolfing.
My family
Then there's my own family. My wife and our 3 children.
They have a a big influence on me.
As you can imagine, your long term spouse has an effect on you. Mr and my wife have been together for 13 years. And we have now 3 boys, ages 5/5/7.
And my family have given me a sense of responsibility. The kind of sense that I didn't know I could experience and have before I became a father for the first time.
And now, this kidbrother has children and only small children in the close family.
So, now my siblings and spouses want to see us very often. Now I feel like I'm giving my siblings those innerblocks they need today
So, in conclusion I have pretty much built my own blocks until I met my future wife. And it's a wonderful Life right now

@mr72bussi,
This was a wonderful post my friend... I grew up with a Mom that had Multiple Sclerosis, and worked three jobs. Because of that, I lived with and was raised by my grandparents. Mainly, my grandmother... so I understand when you say:
Our upbringing, or inner blocks help define who we are as people... outstanding job on this my friend. I would also say, thank you so much, for joining in on my #thoughtfuldailypost movement, but would mention, you need to edit the tag from "thoughtfulldailypost" to "thoughtfuldaailypost"... one too many L in there :)
