After 30 years in the industry, I anticipated future needs and realized that the rise of unsafe devices would put everyone at risk if sensitive data were not protected. I joined the Eclipz team as a member of the Advisory Board to help advance and tailor talents in great need to the commercial market for the benefit of everyone. The Board asked me to join an excellent executive team as CISO to further assist in leveraging the best technology to make devices and the global digital ecosystem more reliable.
Protecting digital data is important to everyone. Sand Hill East CEO Andy Brown and I wrote a joint article on Managing IoT Data Breaches, published in the September 2020 issue of Cybersecurity Magazine, explaining the scale and complexity challenges of IoT data protection. Innovation is needed to protect data in the new digital environment!
Eclipz is an elegant and robust ability to interconnect untrusted endpoints on unsecured networks, protecting data from existing and evolving threats. Eclipz is not a product in itself, but an architecture and code that is integrated into daily products and services, allowing them to communicate securely. This ultimately makes it scalable. It can be applied to protect a wide variety of devices, infrastructure and experiences in every market, and by protecting data flows, it makes technology and services people use more secure. The explosion of IoT devices is one of the largest attack surfaces ever known and should be better protected. Eclipz technology can strengthen the foundations of IoT ecosystems for the benefit of the global digital community.
