Stalking thru the thicket yesterday.. I was not thrilled to discover these wild grape vines absolutely plagued with these nasty bugs.

They particularly enjoy feeding on the vines and hide away in the thicket away from predators, so they found this part of my property exceptional for hanging out in the late fall before death.

Will need to do a thorough examination of all the trees and stuff in the thicket once the Winter has fully taken over. If I can remove a lot of the overwintered egg sacs they lay on trees and just about anything.. I can do a big number on their invasive population.

Yes, after these photos I killed as many as I could.
