The other day, my friend posted on her instagram that she was going to do the 50 push up challenge to transform her body in 30 days. I was sitting there thinking that might not be that hard to do. I was just thinking it would be 50 push ups a day, at various points during the day for 30 days. I could probably do that...yet, I have not started. My husband is trying to get me back into working out again regularly. This might be just what I need.

So, I decided to look up the challenge and see if you really just need to do 50 push ups a day for 30 days or what. This is what I found when I looked it up thanks to this site:
Apparently it is not even 50 push ups a day! You work up to that goal at the end of the month! That I can handle. The author also said that it is supposed to improve your posture, teaching you how to find your "neutral spinal position." This is something I need to work on as well!
So, who else is going to join this 30 day 50 push up challenge with me? I think we can check back in 30 days and see how we are doing. My question is...what do we do on day 31? And do we have to do our push ups on our toes? Ha! Here is hoping that I make it through this one.

Hmm...well I might try, but I have to do modified knee pushups because I'm a wimp! I don't have a lot of arm strength! I predict I can only do 15 at the most! Also I would have to spread them out over a day

I know - me too! Used to work out at Fitness Connection (which is awesome if you join when it's $0 and $10 a month - free kids club, Body Pump classes, nice showers!! I mean, I love that place. I always did classes but I could never really do the push ups right! I haven't done mine today. Going to have to do them before bed I guess. Better tell my husband I'm doing the challenge. ;) He surely will keep me accountable!
