It’s a Shoe story

For work and for play

Shoe’s matter… According to one presentation I red most people would notice your shoes before anything else, it may be true but it holds a very strong statement.

For Play

It took time and consideration on what pair to buy and also the comfort and durability it can give when it comes to the outdoor activities that I used to do and eventually found a good one. These pair brought me to the trails, peaks and even to the rivers and lakes. Had so much adventure memories packed into it that it’s quite difficult to part, really had to wear down the pair until it finally broke. Had a good run with it and was a part of my extracurricular activities for a good period of time.

Even though these pair of shoes is now retired, never the less they were a part of my ministry… Running up hill to visit a family and to pray for them, trekking through the jungle and rivers to visit people were just a few of the things it was designed to take especially when I use them for these purpose.

For Work

Equally with the shoe’s I had for play it’s also a must to have a good pair of working boots. Brings the comfort that I need and also the durability through rain or shine, may it be in the cities or in the country side’s, it’s a pair worth using. Never the less these pair holds a huge piece of working memories because of its everyday use.
At the end of their durability, I’m really glad to have these pair, brought me to pulpits and to bed sides of those who are sick and needed prayer. It was my go to pair especially on urgent situations anytime of the day and it was ready to take action.

It’s a shoe story… Ephesians 6:15 “and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.”
Shoes without the wearer are just accessories without a Soul-purpose. But if we take on the gospel commission and to be ready to go, then our shoes becomes a part of us, as we fulfill to bring the gospel of Christ to the world.
