"Ideation Without Execution Is Delusion" - Robin Sharma

Have you experienced that state of mind where you felt motivated and inspired after reading a book, watching a TED Talk, or reading a blog post and you kept on getting idea after idea? Or ever had that “aha” moment when the answer for what you were looking for popped up in your mind? Or have you ever made a decision that you will change your life for the better from tomorrow onward?

What happened to all of that?

They say that knowledge is power. You can gain a tremendous amount of knowledge by reading, listening to podcasts, and watching educational videos, but do they really give you any power? The answer is NO! They have the potential for power but that won’t be achieved unless you take action based on what you have learned.

How many decisions have you made in your life? How many of them were real decisions? A decision won’t be a real decision unless you have taken new action. Otherwise, it will be an illusion of you making a decision but without any action, you can be in the same place even after 10 years.

So it’s time that you start acting based on your ideas, plans, and decisions. Don’t be trapped in your own dreams and think that you’re making progress. This is a common pitfall. To truly make progress, start executing small actions which drive you towards achieving your goals and bringing your ideas into life. Start small. Take simple actions everyday. When it adds up over time, you’ll be getting closer and closer to achieving those goals.
