Before starting wallpapering
Prepare the wall on which you are going to glue the murals. The surface of the wall should be dry, clean and low -powered (the best effect is achieved on a wall covered with white putty). The non -woven wallpapers mask minor disadvantages, but if the holes on the wall are deep, they should be thrown before gluing wallpaper. If the wall is painted with contrasting flowers, it is worthwhile to first apply a light primer to disguise these colors. Before applying the photo wallpaper, remove all the remains of the previous wallpapers from the surface intended for them.
Cut the wallpaper roll along the cut lines marked with a dashed line.
Lay the strips in the correct order and check that there are no errors in the pattern, and the edges are pretended evenly. If you notice the problem, please contact us to replace the video.
Prepare the glue. When using wallpaper glue, thoroughly dilute one bag (50 g) in 1 liter of cool water and wait a quarter of an hour. After 15 minutes, stir the glue again and you can start applying glue on the wall.
50 g = 1 l of water
100 g = 2 l of water
50 g = up to 6-7 m2
100 g = up to 16 m2
Note: Due to the process of drying of the glue, it is not recommended to glue wallpaper in rooms with very low air humidity and air temperature below 10 ° C. The optimal room temperature during pasting and drying the wallpaper 18-21 ° C.
Installation of non -woven wallpaper
Using the alcohol level and the ruler, mark every 50 cm on the pasted area of the wall equal vertical lines along which wallpaper strips will be glued.
If you glue wallpaper on the wall with windows, start with it for convenience, and then move to the wall.
Apply the glue to the wall surface intended for the first strip of wallpaper (this can be the site slightly wider than the width of the strip). Apply a thin layer of glue on it with a brush. Make sure that the glue layer is not too thick and that it is uniform. Do not apply glue to murals!
Take the first strip of wallpaper. Make sure where its top is, and what you start with the right one. Turn it in the pattern inward (starting from below) or carefully fold it in half so that the glue does not get to the surface of the pattern.
Attach the upper part of the tape in the right place and at the desired height to the glue of the wall. Then carefully expand the belt, gluing it along the entire length.
Make sure that the first strip on the wall is laid exactly along the marked lines. If not, carefully move the belt until it takes the right position.
Brush for wallpaper gently defeat the surface of the wallpaper, removing the irregularities and air bubbles. The brush should be moved in circular motions from the center of the belt to its sides, starting from the upper surface and moving down. Be careful not to stain the brush with glue.
Repeat these actions for the next bands of wallpaper. Make sure the edges of the template coincide.
Excess glue can be removed with a soft sponge or a slightly damp cloth. Make sure that the sponge is not dry and does not rub the surface of the photo wallpaper, as this can damage the imprint.
After gluing the wallpaper and smoothing all the strips with a brush, cut all the extra parts of the photo wallpaper with a knife (including the white edges). Make sure that there is no glue on the blades and it is acute. Using a dumb knife, you can tear the wallpaper.
After gluing wallpaper
Check again whether the wallpaper on the wall over the entire surface and whether the stripes are perfectly adjusted and whether the pattern is distorted. It is best to evaluate the picture from a distance of 1-2 meters. If you notice the displacement of the picture, in the case of freshly worshiped non -woven wallpaper, you can carefully move the strip on the wall and leve it.
Once again, defeat the surface of the wallpaper with a wallpaper roller. Under freshly pricked murals can be several small air bubbles. They must disappear within 1-3 days.
Do not forget to maintain a temperature above 10 ° C and a constant supply of air to the room with fresh wallpaper.
Do not support the natural process of drying the photo wallpaper. Do not use any ventilation devices to speed up this process. If possible, avoid intensive heating of the wallpaper wallpaper, especially if the wallpaper was glued near the heating devices.
