Insurance agent -- resignation letter

Dear Messrs. A, C, F, and H,

Late last week, I found out that, with a conversion rate of under 7%, I would be charged a marketing fee that ate up recent commissions. And yes, the sales director threw me bone by restoring $500 to my ledger.

I was not informed of this claw-back 7% scheme when I started with Fluoro Insurance or thereafter through a supervisor.

Based on my experience to date, I have decided to pursue other opportunities. Revoke my CRM account, my Fluoro Insurance appointment, and pay out my full commissions. Just this past week, I earned about $1,000. Most of the policies will go into effect in early next month.

As Supervisor H has pointed out, I have worked more hours than most of the agents under his supervision. Most prospects, despite my soft skills, are not interested in buying because Fluoro Life Insurance prices are too high. But, I kept trying to make sales, and so my conversion rate was four percent.

Just pay me; don’t cheat me based on your decisions that flow from refactoring from a brokerage office that offered multiple carrier options to single-threading with a highly conservative, overpriced carrier.

This week I had two felons on the phone who I couldn't help, among others. How about marketing to a young/youngish, non-felonious cohort who love to brag and share their tangibles and intangibles on social media platforms? You and your agents may get a surfeit of referrals.

You are an affable group, and I wish you well.

Adieu.
