The vector of intentional events

in intentional •  6 years ago

For each event the intention is direction and there is a size that can be described by drawing an arrow that has a starting point, direction and length.

In mathematics, physics, and engineering, when we want to describe the size and direction of a force acting in space, we do so by means of a vector. A vector is actually a representation of the force in question by drawing an arrow that has a defined length and direction. For example, suppose we want to describe a car moving from point A to point B at 100 km / h, then we draw a line from point A to point B at a length of 100 mm. Simply put, the two qualities that describe power that operates in the physical world are: direction and size.

An intentional event can also be described as a vector: it has a direction - that is, the direction in which the event affects you - personal, health, family / social, economic, spiritual. And it has the size and intensity of the effort you need to invest in order to improve your "I" to be suitable for "me" in your optimal future.

When an intentional event occurs, it is very important to correctly identify the vector direction and size of the event. The point is, it's not always as trivial as it might be in a first-person perspective. For example, if you are fired from your job because you fall asleep on the shift several times, it may seem like an economic event, because you lost your source of income, and there is something to it. But - the central vector is probably healthy - why do you tend to fall asleep so much? Is there any health issue you should take care of? If you ignore the Health Supervisor and try to solve only the economic issue, you will soon discover that not only will the event return in the form of additional layoffs, but the event will return more severely to health and may be accompanied by additional family, social and even spiritual facets.

As it is important to correctly identify the direction of the vector of the event, it is important to calculate its size correctly. In order to calculate the size of the vector, you must carefully examine the magnitude of the impact that the event has on your life (on what you have). Then you must conclude what your "I" needs to change in order for such an event not to be repeated again. When you know where your "I" needs evolved, you will appreciate how much effort is required to make this change yourself. The size of the effort required is the size of the vector. In the case of the "dormant employee" described above, he must clarify with himself how much effort is required to ensure that all the vitamins and minerals needed for him will be present, and that the level of physical fitness will be reasonable. What is required? Proper diet? Join a gym?

The bottom line - the first and most important step to becoming an intentional event for success is to correctly identify the true direction of the event vector and its size.
