Before you the first color photo session we know of in history, which was made in 1913 by the British aviation engineer and photographer Mervyn O'Gorman . Shooting took place on the coast of Dorset, and the model was a 16-year-old girl named Christina. Christina was the daughter of a friend of the photographer and perfectly coped with the role of the model assigned to her .

due to the long exposure times needed, sitting for these pictures must have been quite a job!
