You've probably gone for so many job interviews or maybe a few depending on when you started. There's no doubt you will able to discern which of them went great and the ones that didn't. At the end what really matters is if you're finally given the job, we've come across so many people who had not so good job interviews but the questions they asked at the end earned them the jobs

I've compiled a list of smart questions you should ask at the end of any job interview to improve your chances of landing not just any job, but your dream job. The essence of these smart questions are to present you to the interviewer as someone who is really interested in the job position and not just someone who is frustrated of staying at home and would do just any job to make ends meet. It also shows that you are a very knowledgeable person, who is also concerned enough to ask questions that would in one way or another affect his/her performance at the firm if hired. Another reason for this would be to help you assess the company's working conditions, plans and goals if they align with your own future ambitions and goals.
Having said all that, here are a list of smart questions you should ask after an interview:

Can I ask a few questions please?

Interviewers, rarely ask if you have questions at the end of an interview maybe because there is still a long list of people to interview and they just want to wrap it up as soon as they can and they probably don't think you have any questions to ask them. Asking this question gives you the room to ask other questions that you have on your mind.

Please note that you should only ask this question when the interviewer doesn't ask if you have any questions at the end of the interview.

What does the company hope for the holder of this position to achieve?

Although, this might seem like a stupid question at first since you might have probably seen the job description when you applied for the job. However, in some cases where there wasn't a detailed job description when you applied, it gives you an insight of what the firm wants the job holder to achieve and in some cases some other hidden objectives attached to the job. It also helps you to analyze your present skill sets, if it aligns with the position and if you're qualified for the job.

In terms of the company's goals and objectives, where is she now and where does it see herself in the next 10 years?

This questions helps you know where the company presently is in terms of their goals and objectives, what they've been able to achieve, the competitors they hope to outwit, the company's strategies and what they hope to achieve within that time frame.
You probably must have researched about the company's goals and objectives if you were able to find any, depending on the type of company, before going for the interview, but this gives you a firsthand insight about what they hope to achieve in the long run.

What are the prospectives of the holder of this position to be promoted in future?

Like it or not there are some job positions out there with no promotion prospective, it is more like a stagnant job where the job holders just occupy till they're frustrated into resigning to their fate or looking for better jobs elsewhere.
This question helps you know how the firm promotes holders of the position or employees in the company generally.

What are the job conditions of the company like?

By asking this question you find out little but important details you might think are not necessary at the moment. It gives you an insight about the working conditions and how the company treats her employees. For example, when you're expected to be at work and when the company closes, if there is a company bus depending on how far it is from your location, when you are entitled for a leave, how far it is and so much more.

If you ask all or a few of these smart questions that are listed above at the end of a job interview, you're sure to impress the interviewer and you might just be on your way to land your dream job.images (6).jpg
