My dog rescued me too.

I'm 21, from a small town in New York. When I was 18 I met the love of my life, Justin. I could go into a mushy love story, but I'll speed ahead three years.

We're in Miami living on a lake, loving life. We know all our neighbors. For a week we saw one of them going into an apartment with beautiful black puppy. Only from afar I could see "it" For that week all we could hear is that little doggie crying upstairs, they were never home. One day we got a call from that neighbor asking us if we would "watch" their dog. WELL OF COURSE! So they came and dropped off "maxene" . No way we immediately changed her name to Raven. I fell in love. It's was love at first lick.

She stayed with us for a month, we had taught her how to do EVERYTHING. Potty training, sit, down, stay, come etc. But at that point we hadn't heard anything or even see that neighbor. That was it, she was now ours. Vet bills, traveling and we trained her. Raven found her "furever" home.

We did research and found out she was a Belgian Shepherd Malinios. Purebred. What a majestic dog she's turned out to be. Full of love and kisses and fun. We came back to my hometown in New York. She met my family, mom, dad, sister and brother. My dad fell in love with her.

We're so happy now with Raven. It's incredible how one unconditional love like hers can change your entire perspective on life. If the neighbor hadn't of gave us her, who knows where she'd be and if she was treated right. I'm so lucky to call her mine, plus isn't she beautiful?


She's become part of my life, and I love that.
