Dilemma, wondering what’s next to post.

Hello again fellow stemians

It’s hard to think of contents to post. Reading something is easy, writing it down and putting it into words for readers to read it’s just not my gift. I might think it is good for me, but what would my readers think? Would they continue to follow my post? Will they continue to read what I write?

As I was thinking what to write. I read this blog by @maverickfoo to challenge yourself for 21 days of 21 days, 21 minutes and 21 posts. So here I am taking up the challenge. I hope I will sustain for 21days. 😂

As I was browsing through my previous post and I saw my first post. It was Horrible!! (Comparing to the others I read) My 1st post I think I would be given the chance to properly introduce myself to Steemit and all my followers.
So please allow me to re-introduce myself.

Introduction

I joined steemit on the 03rd January 2018 the second time after failing to save my first password.

I’m well known by the name Wilson Koh and I come from a tiny island called “Labuan” previously known as Victoria Island. I grew up almost my entire life there. Born there, went to school there, learn how to fish there, learn how to swim there, got married there, have kids of my own there, and almost everything there. Ohh ya, learn how to drink beer also from there. 😅 I move from Labuan to Miri for work and now I am in Kota Kinabalu. (The Best place to be in my opinion)

I have 3 kids now. 2 princess and a prince. Shania, Scarlette & Wesley (SSW).

I love travelling, fishing, sports shooting, playing sports, doing outdoors activities, singing, camping and of course drinking. 🤗

Though I may look frightful (as some says) I’m actually a friendly guy.

I worked in an Oil & Gas International company. Vast experience in logistics, warehousing, maintenance, operations and CMMS which stands for Computerized Maintenance Management System (or Software) and is sometimes referred to as Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). Sometimes I go offshore for work. I don’t like offshore life. Your surrounded by sea water and you only see metals, equipments, machineries and colleagues. Is not as bad as it sounds, but nobody likes offshore lifestyle. Home is the best. Ok, enough about what I do for a living, my goal is to leave my current work and pursue my passion.

My Passion

So what am I passionate about? I like cooking, i love watching cooking channels on tv. I like to cook when my kitchen is well organized. My mum said that when I fry vegetables, it is the best. Some of my specialties are curry chicken, lamb stew, nasi lemak and tapai sup. Since Chinese New Year is just around the corner, it’s time to do cooking again. This time I will be cooking some extra good stuff. “Wild Boar with 5 spice”. (I think I will blog about that next week)
I love barbecueing especially bbq pork!!

I like to lazy around too. Who wouldn’t like that? 😄... what I meant by lazying around, is not go to work and end up knowing that by the time I reach my retirement age, I’m half dead 😂. I call going to work as “Jail”. Coz you spend almost half your awaken time in it. But it’s kinda of a high class jail where you can have proper meals and break time, and oh ya, you get to go home and skip jail once in a while, when your sick....hehehe. Doing what your passionate about.

Another passion of mine is plantation. I would love to own a farm one day. Buy a land, plant fruit trees, do hydrophonic gardening, having my own pond or buying a land with flowing river for my fishing activites. Still figuring out how do I get myself there. There is so many ways to do it, however, one way to get there is through steemit. Arigato steemian @danieldoughty for introducing steemit.

What I learn?

Steemit is so new to me, that I have to learn so many thingS.I learned to read alot!!! I started to learn how to write/blog, which I never do before! I learn more and more about cryptocurrencies. I learn that to get an upvote is very hard, however if you connect with others by commenting on their post, they will follow you, upvote you and maybe resteem your post. I learn to make new friends along the way. Yet to know them physically yet, just virtually. Hahaha

Why Am I in Steemit?

At first it is about monetizing from this platform. As I grew in steemit society, it’s about giving rather than accepting. You need to learn to give before you learn to receive. Anything that you do in life is about giving. So I am giving especially to those in need of money, to guide them in steemit. You need to be responsible for those you bring into steemit. Teach them the basic 101 of steemit. This is a great platform to help those really in need. You just need to be patient and continue writing and posting.

What can Steemit do for me?

From my observation in steemit about a month ago, this is definately a positive platform to be in. No doubts there are some negative is some of the blogs I read, you just need to brush off the negative side of it, and pursue the positiveness in Steemit. I really think that steemit can grow bigger than any Social media out there. Steemit has not even touch its surface. We are still underground, and when we reach ground floor, I believe that we will all be at least higher than minnows or dolphin levels. I am working towards that target.

Conclusion

We need to balance our life. Set priority in your daily posting, but also set priority on spending time with our family. Because one is to get you the income, and one is provided with love.

What the mind can conceive, it can achieve!
