INTRODUCTION OF MYSELF

Greetings to you all at STEEMIT! I am glad to be part of this family and for the privilege giving to me to use this platform to touch peoples’ lives by the word of God.

Without much ado, I would like to begin by letting you know about me. Foremost, I am Soughtout Emeka Matthew and on this platform my I. D is sematt which is coined out from my name, letter S started Soughtout which is my first name. Letter E started Emeka which is my middle name and letters MATT which are the four letters that started Matthew which is my surname.

I am a proud citizen of Nigeria, a country richly blessed by God in all ramifications. There is no place on earth like Nigeria and I love her with all my heart.

I am also a singer, multi-instrumentalist, blogger, author, a husband of one wife and a proud father of five children, who loves God and loves helping people with the gifts of God upon their lives like I and my lovely wife.

By the grace of God Almighty, I am washed by the blood of Jesus Christ, having become a new creation in Christ Jesus since 1987 and was filled with the Holy Spirit, I have been committed to serving God in various capacities in the body of Christ, The Church through multiple gifts and talents God endowed me with, starting with musical talent.

As far back as 1984, I was privileged to live with a mission worker in my church; I never know I have musical talent until I was exposed to Conga. From that point, I self taught myself Conga and became the best percussionist not only in my church but in the whole city where I lived.

After that, in the year 1987, I learnt how to play drums set and became one of the best in town. Later on, I developed interest in playing trumpet and I was one of the best in playing brass band. Later on, the privilege to learn bass guitar came, I learnt it and was one the best at it and I raised a lot of students musically. In the mid nineties, I became a professional singer and had some demos and albums to my credit, all to the glory of God. Here is a link to download one of my songs:

In the year 1995, I received the call to become a minister of the Gospel. I responded to that call of God as a pastor in training. God used me so much in the area of preaching and teaching the word of God, healing and setting those oppressed by the devils free in the name of Jesus Christ. When I was done with the training and served my church for few years before getting the leading to found church ministries, this kicked off in the year 1998. It was that year I met my lovely wife and we got married 6th November, 1999 and we had our first child and daughter a year after.

I am the founder and the president of SOUGHTOUT EMEKA MATTHEW WORLD OUTREACH MINISTRY Inc. based in Lagos, Nigeria (www.semwom.org).

I am a mentor to many in the area of marriage, relationships, ministry, book writing and publications, and gospel music.

I have traveled locally and internationally taking Gods saving power to nations and the message of hope to the people, showing and teaching people how to be saved, holding Gospel music concerts, leadership and revival meetings, conferences, seminars, crusades, outreaches and strengthening the church of Jesus Christ with the true gospel of Christ and discipleship training.

I love the people I meet everywhere I travels to. I love their food and their culture.
