The Zazen docked at Steemit!

May I introduce Majj Zazen,

Greetings my friends, and fellow sailors on Steemit,

Please give a warm welcome to another ocean spirit that's joining our growing community, @majjzazen! Who is now starting his journey on Steemit from somewhere in the middle of the ocean on his legendary 27 foot sailboat "Zazen".

Majj is a sailor and also one of the most fascinating people I've met online. He and his beautiful wife Sufiyo, are living a life of freedom and adventure in the ocean, with two adorable cats and a hanging garden of orchids on board. They're always moving, meeting and hosting other sailors on their yacht, and sharing their lifestyle with the world.

I know Majj through a Facebook group called "Liveaboard Sailboat". - A group of about 30K members - all sailors and sailboat owners - who share a common passion of living and seeing the world on a boat. As an amateur sailor myself, who shares the same passion, I've joined the group to learn and network with people who actually live on their sailboats. Majj is one of the most prominent members of the group and also one who knows how to cause waves of comments with his humor and controversial ideas - which is why I think he will do great on Steemit! :)

#SailSpirit - lets bring all the sailors together.

I wish to see more sailors on Steemit. I've seen a few sailors join and then leave the platform, because they didn't know how to find others who share the same interest. I've met several Sailors here on Steemit, but it hasn't been easy to find them and keep up with their posts. So I would like to start a common hashtag:#sailspirit, so that we can easily connect and build a strong community of support around our love for sailing. I hope that we can start here.

That was a nice introduction for your friend the sailor who is living a lifestyle many dream of but few have the courage to make reality. I am certainly interested in the sailing tag and will consider contributing some posts on my experiences on the water

Wow it's a wonderful idea ! His boat is beautiful. I'd love to learn more about sailing and about stories of sailors as I'd love to become one in the near future but still don't know much about the community and the skills =D
