Many in our countries may be discouraged. Maybe he did not win the political option that you wanted, the economy has overwhelmed him and the global panorama does not give prima facie evidence that the world improves. Or maybe you are still sad about the death of your favorite artist or feel that national television is getting worse.

It only takes a few minutes in the medium of your preference to feel that the world is falling apart. Endless images of investigations of homicides, natural disasters, car accidents, wars, famines, economic and political crisis ... The reality is that a good part of the news cycle is nourished by fear and violence. Therefore many networks find a way to fill 99% of the programming with these unique events.

With all this bad news, it is easy to forget that efforts are being made and actions have been taken that put us on the path to a better world. That may be hard to believe sometimes, but it's true. Many times it is because it simply is not reported and the television news or the general press does not give these efforts the importance they deserve.

For example, did you know that several metrics indicate that people around the world are living better, healthier and happier lives? Or what was created the first vegan leather with pineapple fibers, which could save the lives of more than 180 million trees a year? Or is the AIDS vaccine much closer, giving back hope to more than 30 million carriers?

A lot of it has to do with the news we consume. The debates about the powerful influence of the media in our world are multiple and permanent. And I think that excessive negativity in the press is destructive for society.

In this space I propose, together with you, to do an exercise to break this trend. The world has a lot of good to tell. For that reason the purpose is to dedicate space to that search of those stories and news, to publish them here. Every family taken out of poverty, every classroom that is built, and every village that gets access to basic vaccines may not seem significant on a scale of billions of people, but for decades, these gains add up to create a richer environment , more educated and a healthier world and a very powerful statistical history.

We talk about personal stories with happy endings, positive events, scientific discoveries, acts rules or laws that promote the development of humanity, announcements of festive events, positive regional news ... Our initial objective is that any reader find here a dose of good news.

We do not want to just stay there, since this is what we have come up with, but our most ambitious goal is to create a platform in which anyone feels free to share those good things that have happened to him, real stories and who wants to share and comment with other readers, through shared publication and dialogue. I think a platform like Steemit is an ideal platform for that.

In this sense we will do everything in our power to allow and encourage dialogue among all readers about the good that this world has, because we firmly believe that the world, reality and our customs can change and with this newspaper digital we want to achieve it.
