I just finished reading The Sociological Imagination by C Wright Mills. What a joy to find out where John Lennon got the goods for one of his most acclaimed songs, or so I've allowed myself to imagine. Another thing I was pleased to learn was that Mills didn't know where history and biography bisected, despite being fully aware of where they intersected. Job opening?!
