The Beginning: Journey Awaits

Greetings to all SteemIt users

My name's Jamaica Cassandra B. Baulo. A simple individual fron a small country, Philippines. I'm 17 years old, a Senior High student at Adventist Medical Center College here in Iligan City. I am taking up the Humanities and Social Sciences strand.

So much more about the basic stuffs, here are some facts to have a short-reading about me and then you can go on with your beautiful lives.

Facts

Old soul. I love the old stuffs, vintage, the past. I'm now thinking I was born in the wrong generation.

Aspiring photographer. I really love photography. I hope many will notice my skills and be inspired with my shots. These are some of my shots (raw):

Adventure-seeker I have this urging adventure-seeking soul in me.

Dancer. Yes, I am a dancer. I just joined a dance group here in my hometown, Iligan City. The group is called League of Aces, this group had achievements and I must say, the journey is still too long to have more of it. Yes I'm a dancer.

Poet. I am a big fan of words. Most of my works is mainly about love (because I'm always inspired). I'm trying to work more about exploring other genres though. I can't really say that I'm a poet because my works haven't been published publicly, so I only let my works be read personally by the people who I'm bonded with, but their feedbacks are positive so I'm hoping people here will embrace it too. Here is one for you to read and critic; this is made by me of course. So here it goes:

Writing never came easy
Like a ballerina,
I started as a beginner
Pointing toes,
Graceful arms,
Wounds and bruises
Left scars on the skin
Everything I did,
To stand in the spotlight

Writing never came easy
Like a painter,
I started as an amateur
Trembling hands,
Miserable mind,
The ugly and beautiful
Painted art on the slate
Everything I did,
To hang a portrait in the museum

Writing never came easy
I started simple,
Until you came; with
Bursting metaphors,
Hidden silence,
Compositions and poetries
Written in mess
Everything I did,
To tell how deep I fell for you

I accept criticisms.

Introvert. I don't socialize personally, so I'm hoping to have more internet friends here yay.

Nocturnal. I don't know, maybe I just have insomnia.
